Water Ski Shows
The water skiers in the mural represent Southern Wakes United — the only water ski show team making waves in Walworth County.
Southern Wakes United performs free thrill shows on Elkhorn Lake, Lauderdale Lakes, Whitewater Lake, and Turtle Lake, typically on Friday and Saturday evenings at 6 p.m. during the summer season.
Formed from a merger of the Lauderdale Aqua Skiers and Whitewater Lake Sports Club, this non-profit 501(c)(3) team engages youth and community volunteers to build confidence, learn skills, and promote leadership, sportsmanship, and water-safety education. Several skiers have earned awards for best swivel ballet, trick skiing, and individual performance. The Whitewater Lake Sports Club once pulled 31 skiers behind a single boat in 1980, breaking a record.
Lauderdale Lakes

Visitors are drawn to Lauderdale Landing, a popular lakeside restaurant known for its relaxed atmosphere, iconic Friday fish fry, and stunning water views. The Boat House serves as the area's only full-service marina, offering boat rentals, repairs, storage, and everything needed for a day on the water.
