Evergreen Golf Club, located just north of Elkhorn, is a 27-hole public golf facility set on rolling terrain of former dairy farmland. Designed by Ken Killian and Dick Nugent in the 1970s and expanded in the 1990s, the course comprises three distinct nine-hole loops — North, South, and East — each delivering unique challenges and scenic variety.
With 27 championship holes, tree-lined bluegrass fairways, bent grass greens, abundant water hazards on more than half the holes, and numerous bunkers, Evergreen caters to golfers of all abilities. A favorite course for its blend of value and quality, Evergreen earned a four-star rating from Golf Digest.
Groups and events are central to its community role, with over 200 outings and charity fundraisers each season. The clubhouse houses the PUB Grill & Bar, Bunker Bar, and banquet spaces, while a covered patio and pavilion overlook the course — ideal for post-round relaxation, Friday fish fries, live summer music, weddings, and corporate gatherings.
